Our Ceremony Areas
At Tower Hill Barns we offer you two special and unique ceremony locations. Whether you choose to exchange your vows inside in our romantic candlelit barn, or outside in front of the beautifully restored railway bridge, we’re confident the space and surroundings will be perfect for your special moment. For weddings large or small, both ceremony areas exude understated elegance, in a setting that’s all your own.
Photo backdrops here include a wildflower meadow and manicured gardens, our sprawling front lawn, atop the Railway Bridge, by the fire in our outdoor bar, on the alfresco terrace, inside our historic Old Barn, and amidst the breathtaking surrounds of the open fields.
Outdoor Ceremonies
The Bridge, formally the old railway line between Ruabon and Barmouth, was closed during the 1960s and we have now lovingly restored it to create a unique space under which you can exchange your vows. Complete with a stunning wood-clad backing and an oak gazebo for your guests to sit under, it certainly has the wow factor.
Indoor Ceremonies
The Old Barn, was built around the late 1700s and was originally used to store cattle. Now fully refurbished, the combination of stone and wood, along with the many candles we light, really creates the most wonderfully cosy and romantic atmosphere for your ceremony.
Tower Hill Barns is licensed all year round for civil ceremonies inside in the Old Barn. And for civil ceremonies outside under the Old Railway Bridge from April to September. Although, whether inside or outside, whatever the season, we’re happy to host all types of wedding ceremonies, including civil ceremonies, same-sex ceremonies, humanist-led, quaker, and celebrant-led (such as religious, hand-fasting and unity candle).
