6 Reasons To Get Married At Tower Hill Barns Without The Wait 2500 1667 Sally

Take the plunge and say ‘I Do’ to an incredible wedding without the wait because fortune favours the brave.

From the appeal of last-minute offers on late availability dates. To a ‘hell yes, let’s do this’ joy ride. Along with *all* the added benefits of in-the-moment decision-making (that leaves no room for worry, stress, or overthinking), a wedding that’s planned sooner rather than later is a must-have for those who simply cannot wait to say, ‘I do.’

Fallen head over heels for the epic combination that is our exclusive use, rustic countryside wedding barn. The phenomenal views over the rolling Welsh hills. And of course, our top-tier hospitality? Well, all that remains is to set a date!

But if (like most of us) you’re impatient and want it all, yesterday – the idea of waiting a year or more to finally tie the knot with your bae and begin your life together as a married couple may seem like utter madness! Especially if you already waited (im)patiently for that proposal.

If you simply cannot wait to be wed you’re in luck– waiting is definitely not something you have to do if you’re eagerly anticipating a dreamy wedding celebration here in the North Wales countryside. We have a few remaining late-availability wedding dates – with exclusive offers – for go-getters like you.

6 reasons we think you should say YES to a late-availability date for your wedding

To make your decision that little bit easier, we thought we’d share the 6 reasons we think late availability dates are ‘the one’ to allow you to get on with planning your wedding.

(1) The perfect opportunity to look after the pennies, without compromising your big day.

In our humble opinion, the main benefit of choosing a late availability date for your wedding is that you can secure a prime, high-season date at an off-peak price.

Is the date really that important we hear you ask? Well… for most couples, yes! A couple’s ideal date may hang on many factors. For example, whether they want an indoor/outdoor ceremony, a seasonal theme, or even a particular anniversary date.

Ok, but surely the day of the week doesn’t matter in the slightest?

Think again, there’s an obvious reason why most couples prefer their wedding to take place on a Friday or a Saturday–nobody over the age of 25 can handle a hangover at work! It’s sad but it’s true, that privilege is reserved for the young.

Since not everyone wants to take two days off work to attend a wedding (even if they are your bestie), a mid-week date may see guests calling it a night early. Nobody wants the most important day of their lives to be cut short! A Friday or Saturday practically guarantees party vibes with guests ready to let their hair down and celebrate. However, thanks to their popularity, these dates do tend to be the most exclusive.

Fear not! If you’re on a budget, a late-availability date could be your ticket to having it all. For select dates, we’re offering £1500 off your venue hire. That prime date you’re lusting after could well be within reach after all.

(2) Celebrate one of the most important days of your life with the ones who really matter to you.

Our minimum numbers for peak wedding dates are usually set to 80. This may seem a lot initially but you’ll be surprised how quickly those numbers rack up once you factor in all those aunties, uncles and cousins, from both sides. And then there are the plus ones!

With that being said there are a ton of benefits to keeping your guest list intimate by only inviting those who really matter to you. Honestly, this could be a whole post in itself, but here’s the lowdown:

  • Feel comfortable – You’ll feel more relaxed surrounded by those who truly know and care for you.
  • Fewer acquaintances – You won’t have to spend precious time on your big day making small talk with Bob from accounts, which in turn, may present the opportunity for a few stolen moments with your bae. What’s not to like?
  • Make it unique – A smaller guest list will make personal touches and DIY elements more manageable so that you can ensure your big day captures your personality.
  • Spare feelings – With a large guest list it can be SO hard to decide where to draw the line. However, Bob isn’t going to feel so wounded by his lack of invite if he’s one of the thirty in the office that didn’t make the cut.
  • Eco-friendly – Here at THB we try our best to minimise our impact on the environment where possible. Still, weddings do represent a lot of waste–from invites to wedding favours & everything in between. Naturally, a smaller guest list minimises the impact.
  • Splurge where you WANT to – A smaller wedding party represents a cost saving on everything from invitations to food and favours, leaving more money to splurge on that designer dress, swanky jazz band or an epic honeymoon!

So.. if you’re feeling cutthroat and a smaller guest list is for you, a late availability date might just be perfect as they offer a greater degree of flexibility on minimum numbers – invaluable if you’re on a budget or simply anti-social.

(3) Fortune favours the brave.

Are you a foodie? Know your grapes? Or perhaps you’re all about the amazing after-party?

We think couples who accept the challenge of planning their wedding in a shorter time frame deserve to be rewarded. We’ve pondered how we could sweeten a deal, that’s already pretty sweet, in a way that will give you real value.

After much deliberation, we came to the conclusion that as each of our couples is unique, a one size fits all ‘perk’ would never do you justice. Therefore, in true THB fashion, we will endeavour to tailor ourselves to you by offering valuable incentives, that are unique and individual to our couples.

In other words…let us know what floats your boat and we’ll see what we can do.

(4) Your own personal dedicated & experienced wedding planner to take the stress out of planning your big day.

Does the idea of planning your wedding in less than 9 months give you mild palpitations? If you’re planning on saying yes to a Tower Hill Barns wedding this year or next, then take it from us: it needn’t!

When you book a wedding with us, you’ll have a dedicated wedding planner thrown in as part of the package (how’s that for service?!). A wedding planner is always invaluable as an extra brain to pick, not to mention an extra pair of hands.

But planning a wedding in a short time frame is where they really show their worth!

Wedding planners have the benefit of experience. Having seen hundreds of weddings done well, they know what works and what doesn’t and vetted all the best suppliers. Who better to give you a head start on your wedding preparations? They’re guaranteed to save you many hours trawling through reviews!

Our in-house wedding planners are even better, they live and breathe incredible THB weddings and will be there to support you every step of the way – from expert advice to liaising with suppliers and everything in between – whatever you need, they’ve got you covered.

(5) Exclusive use of our incredible, all-inclusive countryside wedding venue with all of the luxury trimmings for an unrivalled wedding experience.

Tower Hill Barns is an exclusive-use venue, which means that on your big day, the impeccable views and luxurious space are all yours! Shared only with your nearest and dearest (and a handful of exceptionally accommodating staff), you won’t find any nosy hotel guests trying to sneak a peak (or worse – crash your wedding party) here.

As well as being totally exclusive, we’re all-inclusive. You’ll find everything you need for an incredible wedding right here, included in your package:

  • Two stunning ceremony areas
  • Phenomenal food, drink and hospitality
  • A beautiful, ready-to-go venue, with lots of finishing touches such as fire pits, candles and fairy lights included as standard
  • Luxurious accommodation on site for your nearest and dearest (including a Farmhouse breakfast spread the morning after to rival the best of them)

Which of course makes planning a wedding in less than 9 months a breeze and leaves you plenty of time to plan the fun stuff–such as your dress, wedding favours, flowers, bespoke cocktails, and our personal favourite: cake.

(6) Last but not least, life is short.

It’s a common myth that you need at least a year to plan your wedding. So let us be the first to say it here: you don’t! Take our word for it, we’ve seen it done in less than three months, and done well. (So 6 months should be a doddle, right?)

Of course, with any decision, there’s always a trade-off, with pros and cons for both sides. Many couples put their lives on hold, spending 12 months eating, dreaming and sleeping wedding planning, but three months out from the big day, come to the realisation that they’ve done a little too much dreaming and maybe not enough doing, thus ending up with a full-on few months in the end anyway.

If you’re game enough to take on the challenge of planning a wedding in a shorter period of time, you’ll be ready for action and have your decision-making brain switched on. Sure it’ll be more intense, stressful, and time-consuming for that stint of time. But after that, you’ll have the rest of the year to relax in newly wedded bliss. And you won’t have spent three months of your life deliberating over wedding favours!
